I watched Mitt Romney make his speech about his Mormon faith and was very amused. He’s such a slick liar when it comes to this. Mitt says that he has respect for evangelical, Pentecostal and born again believers, yet these very strains of Christianity are referred to by the founders of Mormonism as abominations. Joseph Smith believed that, Brigham Young believed that and I would venture that Mitt believes that also.
Ralph Reed, I used to admire you. Now you’ve become a triangulating disappointment like your former mentor Pat Robertson. I always suspected that you were in the fight more for the money and power and I never wanted to believe the chatter that your faith was suspect, but now the proof is in the pudding.
Mike Huckabee, I am a little disappointed in you these days. If you are a Southern Baptist then let me answer the questions you’re been dodging about Christian doctrine, Mitt and the others candidates.
Are Mormons Christians? No.
Are non Christians going to heaven after death on this planet? No.
Is the Mormon faith a cult? Yes
Do you believe in the literal creation of the earth in seven days? Yes.
Can you scientifically prove the literal creation of the earth in seven days? No.
Mike, Jesus had no shame in representing Our Father, and neither should you. The world and press hates evangelical Christians. The bible is filled with stories that speak about this over and over. Jesus never backed away from a loaded question from the Pharisees. Don’t let the election turn you into a slippery eel.
