Where does a Christian Conservative go when there isn’t anybody to vote for?
Now that we’ve established that both Obama and McCain are unacceptable for Christian Conservatives to vote for in the fall election, where can a voter like me turn?
A Troll form the Daily Kos accused me of being partisan recently and tried to shut me up because their indefensible positions wouldn’t hold up under scrutiny. When illogic wouldn’t work in changing my mind they resorted to the tactics that the brain dead often use: threats and vilification.
So when you’ve lost the big game, and Christian Conservatives have lost the big game this election cycle, how do we prepare for the next season?
- Admit we got our butts kicked. Denial never works for very long anyway.
- Don’t vote for unacceptable candidates.
- Tell the candidates why they’re incompatible with the ideals you hold.
- Get your team ready for the next season.
- Look for and draft potential impact players for your team.
- Don’t listen to party people who try to talk you into a fling with the devil.
- When your party’s candidate looses, ignore the weak minded who blame you for their demise.
- Shake the hand of the winner, say good job, and do everything legal, ethical and morally permissible to destroy their administration. They would do the same to you.
- Look for new offensive and defensive plays to make yourself a better player and contender.
- Never, ever give up.
