McCain pulls a magic Reindeer out of his hat

McCain pulls a magic Reindeer out of his hat

Johnny boy, I have one work to say: Bravo.

You pulled a stunner that left Obama and his friends nearly speechless and very angry. You’ve walked away from the way of that old Jedi Master of the Lame, Bob Dole and picked a beauty of a peach.

Heck, you left me speechless, and that’s hard to do.

Obama’s Elephant in the room.

Obama’s Elephant in the room.

Last night, after Obama’s speech at the Democrat convention, some reporters were asking Obama’s people about the elephant in the room. Nobody likes to talk about the elephant in the room, because to acknowledge that there is a problem means you can’t pretend that the obvious truth doesn’t exist.

These is a lot of obvious truth about Obama, and nobody in his campaign wants to talk about it, or they minimize it’s significance.

His ideas aren’t new, they really aren’t change and he has very darn little experience doing anything besides giving speeches. He also has lots and lots of very unrepeatable friends and associates.

When you speak of Obama’s elephant his people say that you either don’t get it, or you’re cynical, or racist or stupid.

Obama’s definition of “Change”

Obama’s definition of “Change”

Senator Obama, the Democrat Party’s official presidential nominee, defined change last night. His definition of change means little or no change at all.

He took his direction from the Walter Mondale 1984 presidential campaign play book, re heated it and calls it a new direction and new change. There is very little new about it, and certainly nothing revolutionary. He sounds like Walter Mondale from 1984, or Dukakis in 1988, or Gore in 2000, or Kerry in 2004.

Nothing has changed. It’s the same old ideas with a new face speaking them.

Where’s the beef Obama?

Where’s the beef Obama?

Bill Clinton was one of the worst presidents in History. Yet, his screaming fans cheered him on like a hero last night. I confess I have a visceral reaction to Bubba and it’s never pleasant. Yet, the old stoner gave one heck of a speech. He lied through his teeth, but gave a good talk. Marketing is largely based on fiction. Bill Clinton did a tremendous job of marketing last night. He spun his many, many failures as successes and felt good about the adulation.

Yet, according to the tracking polls, Obama is without a bump. And, he’s going down in some polls.

Now, that great dull man John McCain is stuck on idle in the polls himself. So, I’ve asked my self if this election could result in no candidate getting the necessary majority of Electoral College votes and forcing the House to pick the president and Senate to pick the vice-president. Talk about exciting.

I enjoyed watching Michelle Obama clinch her teeth as Bubba spoke and Hillary looking so tight that her hemorrhoids could rupture at any moment.

I enjoyed hearing Joe Bided talk about how he would go out and assault his childhood neighbors and bloody their noses. Today Joe, your mother would have to go to court to bail you out for assault  and pay for you and your family to go to anger management classes as your penance. All because of your crime bill. Oh, and it was 10,000 police, not 100,000.

Hillary falls on her sword.

 Hillary falls on her sword.

Hillary fell on her sword for Obama, fell with dignity and delivered what she promised to the Obama campaign. Yet everybody knew she was a woman scorned.

Obama’s growing persona of unqualified entitlement grows ever stronger even as he slips in the polls.

Obama’s children

Obama’s children

Why did the Obama family put their children out in front of national media attention?

When I was a teenager in the 1970’s the great and liberal Saturday night live crucified Amy Carter in jokes and skits on a regular basis. In the 1990’s  the Clinton family fought the media’s attempts to make light of Chelsea Clinton.

Using your children in campaigns is a tradition in the U.S., but dangling your precious babies in front of the media is like dangling red meat in front of hungry, arthritic lions. Sooner or later the sharks will go for it and when they do it’s your own fault.

Ted, the Lion of the Democrat Party

Ted, the Lion of the Democrat Party

I watched Ted Kennedy being cheered on the speakers podium at the democrat nomination party and thought, “ What’s wrong with this picture?” Here’s a man who has been a rock star of the party for years; A man who lived the drugs, sex and rock and roll lifestyle fantasized about by so many baby boomers, a man who got away with manslaughter or even murder; a man who abandoned his children to divorce; and a man who wouldn’t keep his willy out of lots of willing women’s pants.

Now we have another man, John Edwards, who probably hasn’t done a tenth of what Ted has done and  John is a leaper in his own party. What’s wrong with this picture? Why is there a double standard for John Edwards?

The Battleship “Obama”

The Battleship “Obama”

I was watching the news, young men and a few young women were protesting outside of  the Democrat convention in Denver. They were screaming obscenities, flashing obscene hand gestures and wearing masks and glasses to try to hide their true identity.

“How metaphoric,” I thought. The delegates and candidates inside of the convention plan to do a very similar thing, only they intend to pretend to be civil about it.

Obama hires a hit man

Obama hires a hit man.

Barack Obama hires Joe Biden.

Barack Obama has a split personality. One day he wears his green tights and carries the sword of the “Lost Boys.”  He loves to dance to the sound of his tinker bell banging out his favorite gangster Jams while thrusting his wooden sword up and shouting “ I am the Pan.” Most of his fans and admirers love this Obama.

Then, there it the Obama who is a bouncing Paper Tiger. Or, should I say, Paper Tigger. This Obama loves to bounce as high as he can because that’s what Tiggers do best.

Both of these Obama’s hate dirty work. If fact Both Obama’s use subordinates, clergy, and family members to say all the mean nasty things the Paper Tigger Pan feels but hates to say himself. This crowd is called the “Lost Boys.”

“Captain Hook,” A.K.A., “Joe Biden,” is now the number two at the ‘Lost Boys.” Uncle Joe will throw all the Molotov cocktails and cluster bombs that the Pan wants thrown but isn’t man enough to throw himself.

Being a piece of number two is never easy. As we all know number two starts at the top and flows downhill. It’s the politics of political gravity.

However, this piece of number two is potent, pregnant with disease and volatile. He is a mature e-coli terror who will cut you and then smile as you slowly bleed to death and infection takes over your immune system.

Georgia, formally Soviet Georgia is in a bad way

Georgia, formally Soviet Georgia is in a bad way. Russia occupies it’s land. It’s troops have fled the advance of Russian Armor. Russian tanks threaten the capital and the Russian foreign minister is publically stating that the west should forget about the integrity of Georgian territory.

Why is anybody surprised? The Russians are acting like Russians. They like to bully weaker annoyances. Georgia is a weak annoyance.

Truthfully, the Georgian military collapsed and ran. They elected not fight and not to wage a counter insurgency. They also were incredibly stupid to tweak the Russian’s nose.

The Russian’s are letting everybody know that the Bear is still around, albeit arthritic, and is in a foul mood. Watch out Urkrane.

Obama V. McCain

 Obama V. McCain

I dislike both of the presumptive candidates from the two major lame parties. Thus far, I am electing not to vote for either of them.  Many of those who wander into post modern justifications to explain their decisions to vote for one or the other are livid and whining about those of us who believe that exorcising our freedom not to vote is a vote for one or the other of the candidates. The justification that “If you don’t vote for me you’re voting for that fellah over there who is way worse then me,” is lame and a mark of childish desperation.

The idea that a half burnt candidate is better then a fully burnt candidate holds no water.

Additionally, the idea that voting for somebody other then one of the main two candidates is throwing your vote away is to discount the values of  our vote. We don’t live in a dictatorship, yet, where we’re sent to gulags if you don’t vote correctly.

People who say that if we don’t vote for one or the other of the lame candidates we’re destroying democracy and freedom are wrong.

For many conservatives John McCain has behaved badly for many, many years. For many liberals Obama has treated Hillary and women very badly during the primary.

Conservatives survived eight years of Bill Clinton and Liberals survived seven and a half years of George Bush. The sun still comes up in the morning. Vote your conscience. It’s what the founding fathers did.
