Thank you George Bush

The only reason those terrorists struck Mumbai and not Chicago or Los Angeles or New York or Honolulu was because you were on the watch tower.

Thank you for seven straight years of no 9/11 type terror attacks inside of the United States. Watching Mumbai India mop up the blood of innocent people and burn from Islamic extremists should remind us all of the stellar job you did keeping us safe from evil.

I remember watching the news in Los Angeles pound away at the LAPD Crash Team for their strong offensive crime fighting tactics. When the Press and a few vocal nut jobs were successful in bringing down the Crash Team, murders skyrocketed in Los Angeles.

I suspect that when President Elect Obama and his people replace you, they will drop the ball. When President Obama lets those very bad men out of Guantanamo and they return to kill more innocent American Citizens, I plan on blaming the parties who weakened our defense. That will be President Obama.

I’d like to apologize for my fellow citizens who called you every uncivil name in the book. While I know that you made many mistakes and I disagree with many of your economic policies, my young grand son has never had to live out the possibility that terrorists would strike his home and invade his bedroom.

Good luck in your retirement. I hope you get some well deserved rest. I hope your beautiful daughters bring the joy of many grand children to your life and that you grow closer to our Lord and Savior.

My Condolences to India

It looks like terrorists have struck India violently and without regard for human life. Hundreds of people, innocent people are either injured or dead. You’re in my thoughts and prayers India. The perpetrators of this senseless violence are without excuse and deserve the most severe punishment.

My heart goes out to the innocent victims and innocent bystanders who suffer. I pray you all will be comforted.

Could debt destroy the United States of America?

It could and may.

What is the market value of the U.S. dollar? And, how do you value the dollar should the debt it supports becomes so enormous that our economy collapses from the weight of that debt ? Could the United States we’ve all lived in for our whole lives change into something different?

Perhaps. It’s not outside the realm of possibility.

The most toxic debt in the world today is the debt the United States maintains, adds to continuously and pretends to ignore. The most common source of divorce in the United States is uncontrolled debt, financial distress.

The United States is in financial distress. Just as every family needs to examine how much debt is too much, so does the United States.  In a marital union if one or both of the partners refuse to face the dangers of debt, the union may very well fail. In our national union of citizens if we fail to honestly face our debt crisis, our union will fail.

If our economy fails, our union may very well fail. Republicans and Democrat have spent our union into a crisis that threatens our unity. Like little children fighting, we squawk at each other and do nothing about the real problem. If we don’t face this problem, we are doomed.

Our union is threatened by our toxic ever increasing debt. We fight over how to tax ( or not to tax) and how to spend money we really don’t have. Marriages often don’t survive such denial; companies don’t survive such denial; and nations don’t survive such denial.

Our enemies see that we’re fat, broke, in denial and unhappy. They recognize that our unity could very well fail. They’re just waiting until we’re so weak form debt and infighting that we go under. Their hope is to start dividing up the spoils of our civilization and union. It’s a real possibility.

We’re increasingly polarizing and splitting apart at the seams. Our main stream media has picked a side and denies it. It could take decades for us to split apart, but if we don’t start to confront our debts honestly, it will happen.

Is the United States doomed to break up?

A leading Russian analyst believes so. He believes that our ever increasing debt and division amongst elites and average people will tear us apart. The mere thought of that frightens me.

Yet, it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

However, when I look at the vicious divisions within our culture and wonder how we’ll ever heal that rift, I sometimes wonder. Are our differences irreconcilable? I absolutely hope not.

Should the United States of America break up, the world would be a very different place. Freedom would decline and liberty would in jeopardy.

No confidence in President Elect Obama

I have no confidence in President Elect Obama.

He looked into the camera yesterday and spoke as if the disaster facing our country were easily manageable for his Peter Pan persona and his posse of lost boys and girls. Although some of his lost boys looked like they understood the gravity of the situation.

Here are words nobody wants to hear: ECONOMIC DEPRESSION.

I’m predicting a 2 Trillion dollar deficit for 2009, maybe even 3 Trillion.

I’ m predicting double digit unemployment for 2009. Maybe even unemployment exceeding 15%.

Which has been more incompetently run during the last 30 years; Detroit or the Federal Government? Let’s see, that would be the Federal Government.

Which has been more incompetently run in the last five years; the Federal Government or Citi Group? That would be the Federal Government, again.

Isn’t it ironic that the main actors in running the Federal Government more incompetently then either Detroit or Citi Group are now lecturing Detroit and Citi Group on how to properly run an organization?

$300 Billion for Citi; Detroit gets a lecture

What’s wrong with this picture?

First the Fed needs $700 billion to bail out toxic mortgages. Then they decide to use the $700 billion for other things. Now, Citi Bank needs over $300 billion more because the previous $700 billion wasn’t enough.

But Detroit, you get a lecture. The 3 million who work for Detroit, you get the shaft.

But banks; banks get golden parachutes a plenty.

Now, where are the labor loving democrats who claim to be the guardians of the working men and women of America? They’re strangely silent. They’re lecturing American workers employers and saying, “We just might let you go under.”

For years Democrats have taken billions from working men and women in the United States in union donation sponsored political contributions. Now, the supposed labor loving party of asses is gong to let Detroit go under because Detroit-in part-signed contracts with Labor for living wages?

Why are all the labor unions being silent? Have the AFLCIO, UAW, SEIU and other supposed labor organizations sold out the American Labor movement?

The Unions silence is a thundering indictment of their motives.

The democrats and labor fat cat bosses live high on the hog, fly around in private jets and turn their backs on those whose money and sweat helped them get into power.

Obama tells Detroit: Up Yours!

After all the hundreds of millions of dollars that Detroit and the UAW has given President Elect Obama for his campaign he tells Detroit: “Get your act together or we can’t help you.”

Tell me, exactly how is Detroit supposed to get their act together when the rules about unions the congress passed into law binds Detroit to generous wages, benefits and working conditions?

How is it that Detroit is supposed to get it together when the pollution laws that congress passed prevent Detroit from importing the high efficiency technology they already developed and own in other countries but can’t use here?

Detroit has played by the rules congress set, and now President Elect Obama has the balls to tell Detroit: “Get it together” ?

Guess what working America? President Elect Obama is getting ready to let all of your high paying good jobs become low paying non union jobs.

Is that change you can believe in? Change you need?

Not to me.

What to do with toxic investments?

If you bought a thousand shares of Citi group a few months ago it cost $50,000. Today, your investment is worth under $ 4,000.00.

If you bought a home three years ago for $200,000.00 and it’s foreclosed on by the lending institution, the sheriff will probably sell that property for around $100,000.00 at open auction today.

Recently, the investment markets have proven less profitable then Las Vegas; and over the long haul, Vegas always takes gamblers money away.

What do you do when you go to Vegas and loose your shirt? You go home and lick your wounds. That’s why I do go to Vegas, whatever the thrill of gambling, I hate to loose cold hard cash even more.

Investors have forgotten that it really is cold hard cash being bet on the markets. It may not seem like it, but there really is money involved.

I remember a friend of mine who had to pay a stiff capital gains penalty a few years ago. He comforted his wife’s fright at the huge monetary number by saying: “ It’s not real money.” Yet, when he took his profits and purchased a new home lock, stock and barrel, it sure spent like real money.

Explaining to my grand son the value of money is a difficult thing these days. The money people say don’t abandon Vegas; Oh, I mean Wall Street. Yet, those shiny chips have lost their luster and they don’t buy nearly as much as they used to; not will they in the near future.

I’ve stopped defending the Bush Administration for its modern economic socialist ways. The Bush Administration has been a less then conservative economic disaster. Unfortunately, the Obama administration looks to be even worse.

So, here’s the very young score card for the incoming Obama Administration:

Troubled mortgage holders, go pound sand. No bail out for you guys. I know, I know the feds said they were going to help you, but you’re going to be too expensive so go away.

Detroit you too should go pound sand or maybe one or more of you big three should fail. I know, I know, you UAW guys helped pay serious coin for Obama’s election, but let’s face it guys; your contracts are too expensive for Detroit to compete in the world and now that Obama’s won, you too can go pound sand.

Citi bank, you are in fact too big for Obama to let go under. Besides, everybody knows that big banks and big bankers are more important then union workers and toxic mortgage victims. You may get additional bail out money.

Where, oh where have all the doves from President Elect Obama’s camp gone? Why they’ve gone off to silence and fuming at their betrayal. They’ve been sent to the betrayed by Obama gulag. The one they’re setting up at Guantanamo to replace the soon to be former terrorist jail.

I hear they’ll pipe in Peter, Paul and Mary anti war songs and put anti depressants in the whole gain food.

President Elect Obama prepares to betray the UAW and other unions.

Detroit’s bankruptcy means new much lower union contracts. It also means worse benefits, working conditions and protections.

Less then one month after his historic election, President Elect Obama, the democrat Speaker of the House and the democrat Senate Majority Leader all lay the groundwork to jettison some of their most ardent and loyal supporters, Unions.

A modern day “ Night of a thousand knives,” is in the works for the liberal progressive faithful.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Democrats give Union Workers the finger.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi got up in front of the nation today and said that the wages, benefits, working conditions and protections that the UAW and other unions have negotiated in good faith with Detroit have made the auto industry unable to viably compete.

That means that the democrats are saying the UAW and other unions make too much money, have too good of working conditions, have outrageous benefits and they must be cut in order to get any bail out money.

How do you feel about giving that $250 million to President Elect Obama now? President Elect Obama is strangely silent about your tragedy.

Congress gave $700 billion to the banks but nothing to the auto industry. How does that make you feel?

Democrats Sellout the UAW and Unions.

After spending in excess of $250 million dollars of union dues in support of Barrack Obama, the Democrat controlled congress beats up GM, Chrysler, and Ford in hearings on $25 billion is new bail out money. You gave money to a party and candidate that promised change you need, deserve, and can live with.

Now, after the election, senator after senator and congressman after congressman from the democrat party gets up and beats up the big three auto makers for signing contracts your unions made with management in good faith.

In response, President Elect Obama is silent.

How do you feel about that?

What do you get for your contribution to the democrat cause? It looks like a lot of broken promises.

If I were you I’d hold President Elect Obama’s feet to the fire and demand he keep his $250 million promise.

The Future of the Republican Party.

What is the future of the Republican Party?

I keep waiting for Governor Arnold of California to announce he’s changing parties to the democrat variety. Arnold would make a good old fashioned democrat. He doesn’t really believe in conservative ideas, doesn’t like real conservatives, and despises socially conservative Christians.

If Governor Arnold is the future of Republicans, I want no part of that party.

There is a breed of whores in the Republican Party that claim to be Regan Republicans but really aren’t. Arnold is one, I can think of a few others from California: Tony Strickland and his wife; Elton Gallegly and his posse; and numerous others. They have got to go if the party is going to be anything but a shell of it’s former self.

So, to all the whores in Republican circles-and you know who you are-we’re tired of your whoring ways. You’ve brought down conservative ideas to the gutter and betrayed the party faithful. You guys have proven that you can outspend any liberal democrat. When the republican members of congress aren’t having homosexual trysts in airport bathrooms, sending sexually explicit text messages to underage congressional pages, taking bribes form contractors, and spending the country into reckless debt, you’re bickering like undisciplined children.

You guys are acting and whoring like liberal democrats. You’re no better then Ted Kennedy when he was snorting every gram of cocaine in D.C. and leaving his DNA inside of every floozy who would spread her legs.

That is not a party that I want anything to do with.

If You’re going to act, live and legislate like liberal democrats, why not just let them run the whorehouse? Oh, I forgot, the American people gave the liberal democrats the Presidency, The House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate.

Whoring Republicans need to go and look in the mirror. When you see the image staring back at yourself, you’ll know you’ve found the problem.

How to defeat a Hero.

Manufacture a devastating economic crisis. When the hero is defeated, go before congress and say that things are stabilized despite the fact that nothing has changed.

Hatefully discredit the heroes running mate on the basis of gender and color. Discredit her real life qualifications, impressive though they may be, on the basis that real life experience is less valuable then imaginary experience.

Run on the color of you skin and deny it.

Discriminate against the hero on the basis of age.

Use your posse of disreputable characters to viciously attack the hero and his running mate and deny any responsibility.

Use the euphoria the media has over the color of your skin and get away with hateful things nobody else can get away with.

Remain enigmatic.

Lie and triangulate constantly.

Do the above brilliantly and you get to be President of the United States.
