Rebuilding the Republican brand.

Frankly, unless the republican party changes, I’m out. I’m not interested in being part of a low tax and big spend coalition.  The party of big deficits, mealy mouthed spineless ideology shifters, tolerance of big government and pork barrel politics isn’t for me.

This is what the republican party has become.

Like Martin Luther did with the Roman Catholic Church, it’s time to break with Washington and restore the true party.

I support the Constitution of the United States of America

President Elect Obama will become the legitimate 44^th President of the United States. I support the Presidency of our Union and will conduct my political affairs in strict conformity with our constitution and laws.  

President Elect Obama was a joke of a candidate in my opinion, and is a joke of a President Elect. Yet he is the President Elect and will be President. He will be our leader and I respect his pending Office and Position.

The American People have spoken and we can only wait and see what kind of President Obama Barrack Obama turns out to be. I doubt even he knows who he is or who he will be.

President Obama will be the most ill prepared President to take office in our time. He has very little record to look at. What record he has is extremely leftist. We don’t know who he really is at the core and I’m not sure he does either.

He is a great speaker, without much accomplishment. His associations trouble me deeply. Yet he will be our President.

President Elect Obama is the whitest black man I’ve ever seen. Culturally he doesn’t appear to be African American to me. He lives in a mansion, went to the best elite private prep schools, colleges and universities in our nation,  was editor of the Harvard law review and runs in elite mostly white liberal circles. At the age of 28 he began to pattern himself as a black man after the reverend doctor Jeremiah Wright.

I live in a south Chicago Suburb that is 50% African American. President Elect Obama is like none of my African American friends or neighbors. My friends and neighbors are nothing like Senator Obama. I personally like them far better then I like President Elect Obama. My African American friends and neighbors are real and don’t hide themselves from me. President Elect Obama has done nothing but hide himself from me.

I attended the University of New Hampshire back in the early 1980s. President Elect Obama reminds me of all those Yankee Ivy League white boys who prosper at warping themselves into whoever they feel they have to be to get what they want from you.

President Elect Obama will soon be President Obama. I hope and pray that his character is half that of my Christian Brothers at places like the Pacific Garden Mission. I somehow don’t think it is.

John, John, Johnny McCain

You got your rear end kicked, and kicked really well. I’d follow you into combat if needed, even though we disagree on significant issues. You have served the American people really well for a very, very long time.

Go home to your loving family, put your arms around your beautiful wife and relax for a while. You deserve it. I’m sure you wish you had beaten Senator Obama and I’m sure you are really disappointed.

You’re an amazing man. You ran harder then your opponent  who is some is some thirty years younger. I wish you well and hope you find peace and joy.

Good Luck President Elect Obama

Well, the American people have spoken.

People other then me have elected a Peter Pan of a man who never really showed us who he is. We know the Obama of record who is the most liberal Senator in the United States Senate. We also know the Obama of his books who is also very liberal. There is the Obama of his associations who is extremely tolerant of radicals and hate mongers. Then there is the Obama of the campaign who changed his mind often and portrayed himself as a centrist. We have yet to see who the new President will govern as.

I hope and pray that the Peter Pan qualities President Obama exhibits are only for show. I hope that his willingness to hang out with hater mongers changes. I really, really hope that he’s found himself finally and that the self he’s found isn’t the shipwreck waiting to happen I believe it is.

Congratulations President Elect Obama, I hope you’re not like the FORD Pinto, marketed with such grandiose promise, only to later blow up and burn alive everybody depending on it.

Time will tell.
